Costs

Upfront Cost

Because connecting directly with you without the barriers and limitations of insurance companies is important to us, CONNECT Psychotherapy is a self-pay practice. That means we do not communicate your private information to insurance companies and decisions about your care are between you and your provider.  We offer free initial consultations and a market comparable session rate of $160/session. You will always know the fees for your services upfront. No surprises! 

Payments are made quickly and easily in the client portal with a major credit card, HSA, or FSA. 

Cost Assistance

CONNECT Psychotherapy is a listed provider with the Loveland Foundation Therapy Fund.  With the barriers affecting access to treatment by members of diverse ethnic and racial groups, the Loveland Therapy Fund provides financial assistance to Black women and girls seeking therapy nationally. The fund opened signups for Q3 (June - August) cohort on May 1, 2021. Visit their page to sign up before vouchers run out. If you have a voucher from the fund, your session costs could be covered. Insurance Reimbursement

We do not accept insurance directly. If you were hoping to use your insurance, there is good news! Some insurance companies will reimburse for licensed professionals who are out-of-network providers (that's us!), and there has been a lot of progress with insurance reimbursement for telehealth services since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. We can provide you with documentation to help you pursue reimbursement through your insurance plan. 


Below are some simple steps to helping you get reimbursed :


  1. Find out what your insurance plan allows for  mental/ behavioral telehealth coverage by calling or looking online for the specific reimbursement rate (for out of network providers) that your plan allows. 
  2. Check to see if there is a deductible that you will need to meet first.
  3. Locate the correct form from your insurance company. The form is usually called "Claim form for Out of Network Reimbursement." 
  4. We will provide you a super bill that will serve as your receipt to send with your claim. 
  5. Submit required forms to your insurance company to process your claim. If your claim is approved, the insurance company should send a funds directly to the policy holder for the cost that they will reimburse.
